This means Nepal’s current situation has not improved more. Any score below 50 shows that corruption is still a serious problem.

Most and Least Corrupt Countries
- Denmark is the least corrupt country, scoring 89 points. Denmark has been in the top position for the last seven years.

How the Index Is Made
Transparency International prepared this index using data from up to 13 international surveys related to public sector corruption.

Nepal’s ranking shows that corruption is still a major issue. Strong laws, honesty and transparency are needed to improve Nepal’s position in the future.
